I finished reading yet another book (i have plenty of time on my hands and people to ignore on the subway) called "Charmed Thirds" by Megan McCafferty. The novel's heroine is Jessica Darling, a young woman from New Jersey, who in this particular novel is attending Columbia University and all her trials and tribulations of her college career. Apparently this is the 3rd installment of the Jessica Darling series. I have to get my hands on the first two and the fourth Darling book is out this fall. The author, McCafferty, is so funny and sarcastic and painfully honest about the angst of being in the awkward stage of being "over it" but not wanting to "grow up." I could not stop reading this book, i started it yesterday morning (on my commute to work) and finished it not an hour ago. SO. GOOD.
