In today's Page Six of the NY Post (the best newspaper in the world may i add) had an item saying that Lauren "LC" Conrad from the MTV reality show, "The Hills" (another show that's on my DVR) is going to be walking in Marc Jacobs' show this season. Apparently, some models are pissed off that MJ "succumbed to putting on one of 'those shows'" meaning reality tv for publicity. Marc- you don't need any publicity!
I used to work for a fashion tv show and I remember covering fashion week, and Marc is notorious for always starting his shows at least two hours late but always having the "best" (as in most popular at that moment) celebrities and throwing crazy ass parties afterwards. unfortunately i was not lucky enough to go to those, but i would've rather gone as a guest than having to work. i remember the crew coming back to the studio at midnight or later when the show was supposed to end at 9pm at the latest.
it's crazy in fashion though how so much preparation and time and dedication goes into putting on a show and then literally within 15 min (tops) it's over.
i wish i was a model. damn being 5'4''.
UPDATE: According to close sources and despite media reports/rumors, LC is not walking but working/helping with the casting and the models backstage.
